Busta Rhymes Tells Fans

I Bullsh*t You Not" W/ Maino, Uncle Murda & Raekwon
Nearly three years since his last solo project hit stores, Busta Rhymes has decided to treat fans to a new mixtape called I Bullsh*t You Not in preparation for his new album's release later this month

"We are officially two weeks away from the release date of the Back On My Bullsh*t album," Busta explained. "It's been three years since I put out my last album, put The Big Bang out in 2006 and it's been a whole lot that's transpired since this album and the last album...May 19, 2009, it's one of the most powerful weeks of the year...The name of this incredible mixtape is I Bullsh*t You Not...I wanna acknowledge the fact that this mixtape is a free download for all of y'all in the world...We just felt it was necessary and only right to give y'all a mixtape of all original beats, all new raps, couple hot cameos like the homie Lil Fame from M.O.P, Raekwon the Chef, Maino, Uncle Murda, Spliff Star." He recently promised fans a return to "substantial hip-hop" via the new project.
"I'm happy, real happy, about a lot of things," Busta said in an interview. "I'm in a great situation. New label, new money, new excitement, new sound, new album, just new everything. I just feel like I'm being born again or something...The album sounds like the substantial hip-hop that has been missing from the game for a long time...That traditional boom bap - hard kicks, hard snares, solid bass lines, records that sound real melodic because they're very incredibly structured songs, very lyrical records. It's the well-rounded balance of what a real hip-hop album is supposed to feel like." (Boston Herald)
His eighth album was pushed back roughly four months ago.
Artwork for Back On My B.S. is now available. Explicit and clean versions of the disc will be available in stores and online May 19th. The new Grand Theft Auto IV Expansion Pack will include two new tracks from Busta Rhymes including his collaboration on "The Conglomerate" featuring Young Jeezy and Jadakiss. The rapper recently dropped the "Arab Money" remix with Diddy, Ron Browz, Swizz Beatz, Akon and Lil Wayne. (BustaRhymes.com)
The Flipmode Squad leader recently joined Jadakiss at a show in New York City last month.
"It's my pleasure to say that Jadakiss is not just one of my favorite emcees," Busta told the crowd. "But we officially giving Jadakiss a new nickname tonight. I'm giving it to him tonight. Jadakiss is 'The Hitman' for New York, word up. Jadakiss is what Joe Pesci was to Robert De Niro in Good Fellas...He kills n*ggas so bad, they ancestors feel the pain. So now, with that being said, we are now inaugurating Jadakiss as the God emcee of New York City. I hope y'all n*ggas respect that.
